HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister directs for the immediate cessation of any changes to educational curricula that are inconsistent with the Kingdom’s national and religious values

Manama on May 9 (BNA): In line with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s commitment to protecting the Islamic religion, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, directed the Minister of Education to immediately stop any changes made to education in the Kingdom. Curricula that are not in line with Bahrain’s national values ​​designed to protect religion and its basic pillars.

His Royal Highness, the Minister of Education, directed the need for educational curricula to adhere to Islamic teachings in line with the National Action Charter and the Constitution.

His Highness reaffirmed that the Islamic religion is sacred and must be respected and protected at all costs.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad concluded his speech by expressing his appreciation to the Kingdom’s scholars and members of the legislative authority for their commitment to upholding the Kingdom’s national values.
