Manama, October 10 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received a cable of congratulations from the Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan. On the occasion of the opening of the fourth session of the fifth legislative term of the National Assembly.
His Excellency Al-Saleh expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the attendance of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister. Al-Saleh noted the Shura Council’s commitment to building on the national successes and achievements that have been achieved under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al-Saleh praised the continuous support of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Shura Council, as well as in strengthening cooperation and coordination between the executive and legislative authorities in order to strengthen the democratic process in Bahrain.
The Speaker of the Shura Council indicated that the government’s support for the legislative authority confirms the appreciation of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister for all the sincere efforts of the Shura Council and the House of Representatives to serve the Kingdom and consolidate democratic principles, in line with the government’s initiatives. To improve cooperation between the executive and legislative branches to achieve the aspirations of Bahraini citizens.
