HRH Prince Al-Hassan bin Talal visits EDB

Manama, March 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, Chairman of the Jordan-based Arab Thought Forum, visited the headquarters of the Economic Development Board in Bahrain Bay.

Upon his arrival, His Highness was received by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, mainly Deputy Prime Minister, and Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and senior officials.

The Deputy Prime Minister received His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal and his accompanying delegation, stressing the strong fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan thanks to the patronage and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty the King. The Deputy Prime Minister indicated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm keenness to enhance cooperation with Jordan to serve the interests of the two countries.

Through a presentation made by the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal was briefed on the mechanism of the Bahraini government’s work. He also reviewed the Kingdom’s economic performance, the economic recovery plan, and the measures taken to promote economic development in accordance with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal was briefed on investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the role of the Economic Development Board in promoting investments in vital sectors.
