HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s support for Khatwa programme affiliates praised

Manama, May 18 (BNA): Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, praised the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to accept 236 applications for retirement immediately. In a step program for home projects, provided that the government pays additional contributions to ensure that the retirement fund is not affected, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to improve services provided to citizens.

The minister indicated that the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister will motivate home-based entrepreneurs, praising the government’s keenness to protect Khotwa program members and enable them to expand their businesses and increase productivity, under a legal umbrella that the Kingdom provides to its citizens in all aspects..

He explained that Khotwa represents a pioneering program that provides a supportive environment for home-based entrepreneurs, adding that one of its main goals is to form a nucleus for commercial projects in the future, within the framework of the Kingdom’s social and economic policy. It aims to support all efforts exerted to empower individuals and families, and to contribute to creating an economic environment for the Bahraini family, by promoting home-based entrepreneurship.
