HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister to patronize MEOS and GEO 2023 

Manama, Feb. 4 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain will host the Middle East Oil, Gas and Geosciences Conference and Exhibition (MEOS and GEO 2023) on February 19 and 21.


The event is being held at the Bahrain International Fair in Sakhir under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


Challenges facing the oil and gas industry and appropriate creative solutions that are in line with the requirements and programs of countries in the world to reduce carbon dioxide emissions will be discussed.


This global event is organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Society of Exploration Geophysics, the European Society of Geoscientists, and the American Society of Petroleum Geologists, in cooperation with the Ministry of Oil and Environment, and with the support of various Bahraini, Gulf and international companies.


The Minister of Oil and Environment and the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dinah, affirmed the continued support for the oil and gas sector from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


He pointed out that the MEOS and GEO exhibition and conference represent one of the most prominent events in the field of oil, gas, exploration and geology in the Middle East.


More than 400 specialized speakers will participate in the conference, who will focus mainly on key issues, especially supply and demand in the oil market, carbon neutral emissions, challenges and opportunities, the fourth industrial revolution, the digital future and other related topics.

The conference will include more than 10 main sessions, 500 artistic presentations and accompanying exhibitions on an area of ​​more than 36,000 square kilometers.
