Housing Minister discusses Bahrain-Oman cooperation

New York, May 1 (BNA) The Minister of Housing, Basem bin Yaqoub Al Hamr, held a meeting with the Omani Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Khalfan bin Saeed bin Mubarak Al Shuaili, and praised the strong brotherly and historical relations that bind the two countries in various fields.


Dr. Al-Shuaili also praised the solid bilateral relations and joint efforts aimed at expanding cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman.


During the meeting, Al-Hamar stressed the importance of cooperation and exchange of experiences with other countries, referring to the successful housing projects and programs in Bahrain.


He emphasized the Kingdom’s steps since the establishment of the ministry in promoting social housing and intensifying partnership with the private sector.


Al-Hamar is heading the Bahrain delegation to the United Nations High Level Meeting on Implementing the Urban Agenda in New York, which also discussed the 2030 social development goals.
