Housing Finance Program wins Best Innovative Program award

Dubai, May 11 (BNA): The new housing finance program won the Best Innovative Program Award for 2023, which is awarded by the Middle East Economic Digest (MEED) magazine in the Middle East and North Africa region.


This award comes in recognition of the efforts made to provide innovative housing solutions and programs for low-income people in the Kingdom, which comes as a result of the joint work between the Ministry of Housing and the Eskan Bank.


The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Housing Bank, confirmed that this award came as a result of the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, regarding the provision of innovative housing solutions for citizens.


The Housing Finance Program was launched in August 2022 to provide innovative housing solutions to citizens.


The minister said that this program was able to prove its feasibility in providing housing services to a large number of citizens in a short period, which is a pace that promises to achieve more gains in the path of partnership with the private sector during the next stage. .


Al-Rumaihi indicated that winning this important award at the regional level is the culmination of the efforts of the government represented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Housing Bank.
