Fairmont The Palm is a world-class luxury resort located on Dubai’s famous Palm Jumeirah island. The hotel features 391 rooms and suites with rooms and a lounge dedicated to Fairmont Gold. A total of 11 food and beverage outlets on the property offer international dining options including Little Miss India, Frevo – Brazilian Churrasco Experience, Seagrill Bistro, Ba Restaurant and Lounge, Blowfish, Flow Kitchen, The Cigar Room, Vuvuzela and more. Fairmont The Palm also features an expansive swimming pool, beach area with health club, Willow Stream Resort and Fairmont Falcons Children’s Resort.

Summary of daily tasks and responsibilities

Consistently provide professional, friendly and engaging service.
Welcoming all guests upon entering and leaving the hotel while ensuring that service standards are followed.
– Make sure that no guest is left unattended, you must be in contact with everyone.
Be a hotel ambassador at all times, and encourage guests to come back.
Engage in conversation with first-time visitors, showing them the lobby and providing directions as required.
– Assist guests with hotel facilities and promotions in an informative and informative manner
Use a positive and clear speaking voice, address the guest by name if you know him or her.
Listen carefully to understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information such as outlet opening hours, hotel layout, ongoing activities and local attractions.
Follow the “Lost and Found” policy.
– Follow management policies, procedures and service standards
– Dealing with Trip Advisor comments from our valued guests.
Be aware of the entire hotel operations in order to assist guests at all times.

Job Qualifications

Previous guest service experience is required.
He must have a professional and perfect presentation.
Must possess outstanding guest service skills and well-developed verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
Very responsible and reliable.
Confidence in dealing with guests

The gift of being tactful and diplomatic, but also firm when necessary
The ability to stand for long hours
– Additional language is a must, be it French, German, Spanish, Italian or Russian
