Manama, April 26 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, today visited the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force.
Upon his arrival, His Majesty the King was received by the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser and Commander of the Royal Guard, Major General His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Royal Special Guard. Force Commander Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Majesty the King was also received by the Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defense Force, Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, and a number of senior officers of the Bahrain Defense Force.
His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met with senior officers of the Bahrain Defense Force, and affirmed his constant pride in Bahrain’s defense force and its brave men.
His Majesty the King expressed his thanks to all members of the Bahrain Defense Force for the tremendous efforts they are making to protect the gains and achievements of the Kingdom and its people, stressing that they are a source of pride for all.
The attendees extended their sincere congratulations to His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on Eid Al-Fitr.
His Majesty the King congratulated them on this blessed occasion, and asked them to convey His Majesty’s greetings and congratulations to all officers, non-commissioned officers and brave individuals in various work sites in Bahrain and abroad.
His Majesty the King affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain always hopes that security and peace will prevail in the region and the world, wishing all members of the Bahrain Defense Force success in defending the homeland and promoting its progress and prosperity.
