Manama, May 9 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received the personal representative of Palestinian President Yasser Mahmoud Abbas, in the presence of the Palestinian ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Taha Muhammad Abdul Qader.
The personal representative of the Palestinian President conveyed to His Majesty the King the greetings of President Mahmoud Abbas and his wishes for good health and happiness, and continued growth and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
His Majesty the King welcomed the personal representative of the Palestinian President, and asked him to convey his greetings and appreciation to the Palestinian President, and his wishes to the Palestinian people for security, stability and prosperity.
His Majesty the King reiterated Bahrain’s firm position in support of the Palestinian cause and all endeavors to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the region. He affirmed the Kingdom’s support for the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state in accordance with the two-state solution and the resolutions of international legitimacy in a way that achieves stability and prosperity for all peoples of the region.
