Manama, November 17 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today ratified Law No. 29 of 2021 amending Clause (D) of Article (23) of Decree-Law No. 54 of 2018 issuing the Communications and Electronic Transactions Law. .
The law stipulates replacing the text of item (D) with the following text:
“With respect to unaccredited trust service providers, the person who has suffered the damage must prove that the damage was caused intentionally or negligently by the service provider.”
The Prime Minister and the ministers – each within his jurisdiction – shall implement the provisions of this law, and it shall come into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
