Abu Dhabi, May 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa offered his sincere condolences to the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, after the death of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Zayed Al Nahyan.
His Majesty the King also offered condolences and sympathy to the brothers and sons of the deceased, the Al Nahyan family and the brotherly people of the Emirates.
He called on His Majesty the King, the Almighty, to grant His Majesty the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, grant patience and solace to Al Nahyan.
His Majesty the King praised the virtues of the late president, his role and his efforts to advance his country in various fields, and his services to his people and the Arab, Islamic and humanitarian nations as a whole.
His Majesty the King highlighted the role played by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, along with the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in strengthening the council’s march and increasing its gains, stressing that its achievements will always be remembered, and that the deceased will remain a model of leadership, giving and dedication.
His Majesty King Hamad stressed that the death of the late His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan saddens the leadership and people of the Kingdom, noting that Bahrain will always remember with pride the great stances taken by the deceased towards it.
His Majesty the King congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, upon his election by the UAE Federal Supreme Council, as President of the UAE, wishing His Highness success in the performance of his duties.
His Majesty the King expressed his deep pride in the strong relations between the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, pointing out that they embody the deep-rooted, close and loving brotherly relations that have prevailed between the two brotherly countries throughout history.
His Majesty the King expressed his confidence that bilateral relations will continue to grow to serve the common interests of the two brotherly countries.
