Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Decree (13) for the year 2023 regarding the restructuring of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and after approval. from the cabinet.
According to the decree, the Labor Market Regulatory Authority will be restructured as follows:
Chief Executive Officer, who is responsible for:
First: Communications Directorate
Second: Project Management Directorate
Third: The Directorate of Awareness and Partnerships
Fourth: Executive Vice President for Policies and Market Information (with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary) and supervises:
1- Directorate of Policies and Research
2- Directorate of Studies and Market Information
3- Directorate of Wages Protection
Fifth: Executive Vice President for Resources and Information (with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary) and supervises:
1- Directorate of Human Resources
2- Directorate of Financial Resources
3- Directorate of Information Technology
Sixth: Executive Vice President for Services and Business with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary and oversees:
1- Directorate of Employers Services
2- Directorate of Labor Services
3- Business Development Directorate
4- Directorate of Work Systems Development
Seventh: Executive Vice President for Implementation and Protection with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary, and supervises:
1- Directorate of Legal Affairs
2- Labor Inspection Directorate
3- The Directorate of Preventive Control
4- Protection and Grievances Center
Decree (39) of 2019 regarding the organization of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority shall be repealed.
The Prime Minister shall implement the provisions of this decree, and it shall come into effect immediately, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
