Manama, October 11 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a telegram from the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The minister expressed his thanks and gratitude for the speech of His Majesty the King and his directives to open the fourth session of the fifth legislative session of the Shura and Representatives Councils.
Major General Sheikh Rashid appreciated the attention of His Majesty the King and his close follow-up to the interests of the Kingdom and its people and the efforts made to achieve the noble goals of stability, security, a decent life for the Bahraini people and the development of the democratic process.
The minister confirmed that the ministry has begun implementing the directives of His Majesty the King in working on reform centers and opening prisons in accordance with international human rights standards and protocols of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, in a way that guarantees justice and the reintegration of the beneficiaries of the program into society.
