HM King attends reception hosted by HM King Charles III; affirms depth of Bahrain-UK relations

London, May 5 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today attended the reception that was held on the eve of His Majesty the King’s coronation. King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Head of the Commonwealth.


The reception, which was held today at Buckingham Palace, was attended by heads of state delegations and royal families.


His Majesty the King exchanged, with His Majesty King Charles III, cordial discussions about the depth of the long-term and strong friendly relations between the royal family and the two countries, stressing the steady growth of the historical ties between the two kingdoms in various fields.


His Majesty the King expressed his pride in the role played by His Majesty King Charles III in consolidating the flourishing bilateral relations for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples, wishing His Majesty abundant health and happiness to continue leading the march of progress for his country.


His Majesty the King affirmed his pride in the historical relations and close partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, noting that bilateral relations have always been based on solid foundations of friendship and mutual appreciation, adding that Bahrain is always looking forward to strengthening its strategy. Relations with the United Kingdom and strengthening cooperation, coordination and joint work with it to serve their common interests.

His Majesty King Charles III expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad, praising the great role played by His Majesty the King in strengthening the pillars of bilateral relations and enhancing the level of well-established Bahraini-British cooperation.
