Manama, December 9 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-President of the Board of Trustees of Higher Education received Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Issa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Israel’s designated ambassador to Bahrain, Eitan Naih. .
The Secretary-General expressed her appreciation for the development of relations between Bahrain and Israel, noting the signing of memoranda of understanding in various fields of cooperation.
It reviewed areas of common interest between countries in the field of higher education and the scientific research sector, exchanging experiences and strengthening cooperation for the benefit of countries and their peoples.
The ambassador stressed Israel’s keenness to strengthen relations between the two countries.
