Manama, Jan. 27 (BNA): The Council of Higher Education organized a visit to the Bahraini Women’s Monument “Al-Athar”, inaugurated by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King. President of the Supreme Council for Women on the occasion of Bahraini Women’s Day.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Supreme Committee, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, described the monument as a cultural symbol that reflects the achievements of Bahraini women, since the establishment of the Council, in the era of prosperity of His Majesty the King. During the visit, the Secretary General of the Supreme Committee shed light on the memorial of the delegation, which included chairmen of boards of trustees and heads of university presidents.
The director of gender balance at the Supreme Council for Women, Rania Ahmed Al-Jarf, also paid the visit.
