Madrid, October 2 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, won the International Equestrian Federation Endurance Championship for young horses in a 120 km race.


More than 57 competitors representing 20 countries around the world participated in the race that took place today in Spain.


His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa followed the race in which His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa won, surpassing his competitors from Uruguay, the United Arab Emirates, Spain and other countries.


His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa congratulated His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, captain of the Royal Endurance Team, upon his victory in the race.


His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented his victory to His Majesty the King, praising the royal patronage of equestrian sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


The First Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, also watched the race.
