HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad to patronise third Bahrain Baby Games

Manama, May 26 (BNA): Preparations are in full swing to host the third Bahrain Games for Children, organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee, in Isa bin Rashid halls in Isa Sports City, from June 1 to 4.


The First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Sports, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, sponsors the Mini-Olympiad, in which more than 600 children, between the ages of three and five, will participate.


On this occasion, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad stressed that the third Bahrain Games for children comes within the framework of the British Olympic Committee’s keenness to create a healthy and active generation, as the event aims to develop children’s motor and cognitive abilities at an early age.


His Highness added that the event aims to attract children at an early age to develop their physical and motor skills, create an early focus in their minds on the importance of sports, instill values ​​and principles in early childhood, and promote the importance of physical education and sports. By raising awareness among parents.


His Highness Sheikh Khaled indicated that the Mini-Olympiad will reflect positively on the sports movement in the Kingdom, as its noble goals include inculcating Olympic and cultural values ​​in the hearts of children, as well as encouraging them to practice sports, stressing the importance of preparation. Bahrain’s third children’s games are characterized by many games, which are crawling, racing with walkers, football with free kick competitions, basketball through free throws in the basket, athletics with fast running, hurdles and children’s relay, gymnastics with freedom of expression of the body, swimming Freestyle, weightlifting with an emphasis on technique.
