HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad honored with Positive Impact Award in Mixed Martial Arts

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa received the Positive Impact Award in Mixed Martial Arts as a gesture of appreciation for the efforts made by His Highness to promote the mixed martial arts scene in Europe and beyond since the founding of the Fighting Organization (BRAVE) under the guidance of His Highness’s vision in September 2016.


His Highness received the award thanks to his vision of achieving a qualitative transformation in this sport in Europe. His Highness’s vision led to the launch of the BRAVE CF Championship outside the borders of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to reach Europe, and to make Serbia the capital of combat sports in Europe.


The Serbian Minister of Sports, Zoran Gajic, announced his country’s official recognition of mixed martial arts (MMA) as a sport, a step that will benefit thousands of athletes participating in this sport in the country.


By organizing International Fight Week (BRAVE Serbia) under the vision of His Highness, Serbia has played a pioneering role in the development of MMA in Europe, which has been praised by the Serbian government.

His Highness overcame many barriers and took the BRAVE Combat Federation to the forefront of the most prestigious mixed martial arts show in the world after Germany became the 28th country to host the BRAVE CF event last year, a feat that could not have been achieved by any other organization at the same time. a period of time.


The International Brave Fighting Week in Serbia witnessed unparalleled success thanks to His Highness’ tangible contribution to the development of MMA in Europe, as the event hosted the largest amateur world championship in history and a championship for the fastest growing organization in the professional world, making it the largest martial arts festival in Europe.
