Manama, April 27 (BNA) The General Sports Authority organized the 2022 sports tournament, in which the heads of national federations and clubs participated.
The event was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Financial Regulatory Authority, Vice President of the British Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, CEO of the General Authority of the Authority, Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar, and heads of local clubs and federations.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid stressed the keenness of the Public Authority for Sports to develop the sports system in Bahrain through partnership with various sports institutions and bodies, including clubs and federations.
“The presence of the heads of clubs and national federations under one roof in one event enhances relations between members of the sports family in Bahrain,” he said.
Dr. Askar expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Khaled for his initiative and directives to organize the tournament, stressing that the success achieved thanks to the wide participation of the heads of clubs and federations.

It is worth noting that the winners were honored by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa.
