Health Minister receives Bahraini Ambassador to Syria

Manama, April 5 (BNA) Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al-Saleh received today the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Syria, Waheed Mubarak Sayyar.

Al-Saleh welcomed the envoy and emphasized the depth of the distinguished relations established between the two countries in various fields.

She stressed her keenness to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries in the health field, by activating the current memoranda of understanding and exchanging experiences, in a way that contributes to improving the quality of health services.

The two sides also discussed topics and projects of common interest, as well as ways to enhance fruitful cooperation in the future.

The ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Health for the meeting, stressing his readiness to contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the health field.
