Gulf Air takes off on a low-emissions flight at the Bahrain Grand Prix<br />













































Manama, March 20 (BNA) Bahrain’s Gulf Air, in cooperation with Formula 1 and Neste, intends to conduct a low-emissions flight at the opening of the 2022 Formula 1 season at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir on Sunday evening.


Gulf Air unveiled its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with its new corporate identity at the 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, today using sustainable aviation fuel provided by Neste to conduct the iconic flight of the year for the second year in a row. .


“For the second year in a row, we are celebrating the start of the race with a low-emissions private aviation feature as a commitment to our future strategy to explore the use of sustainable aviation fuels in our aircraft and stand by our commitment to reducing carbon emissions,” said Captain Waleed Al Alawi, acting CEO of Gulf Air.


Every year, Gulf Air is always happy to be the main sponsor of the Formula 1 race at the Bahrain International Circuit.
