Gulf Air participates in Bahrain Pavilion at EXPO 2020

Dubai, February 15 (BNA): Gulf Air, the Bahraini national carrier, in coordination with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), announced its presence at the Bahrain pavilion at Expo 2020.


The airline has created a space for visitors to explore Bahrain and explore Gulf Air through a series of videos and interactive elements to highlight the hub of the airline. The space will be until the end of the main global event on March 31.


Acting CEO Captain Waleed Al-Alawi said: “We are pleased to cooperate with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority to display our beautiful kingdom and its national carrier at the Bahrain pavilion.”

Visitors learn about Gulf Air’s products and services along with a glimpse into the experience of flying aboard the national airline of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as the ability to interact with the brand by scanning codes within the space.


Additionally, codes that visitors can scan introduce them to Bahrain’s tourism and cultural activities, along with exclusive footage of the kingdom provided by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and Bahrain. Economic Development Board.


Bahrain Stop, which was relaunched in December 2021 in cooperation with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority; Eligible Gulf Air passengers are given the opportunity to stop over in Bahrain, obtain hotel reservations, and use tourist facilities through many tailored packages and offers, before continuing to their final destinations, including no visa fees and no PCR test on arrival.

Eligible visitors are allowed to book a three-day flight, accommodation and race as well as transportation to and from the Bahrain International Circuit.
