Gulf Air completes its annual air operator certificate renewal audit

Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier and the world’s most advanced airline 2022, has completed the annual Air Operator Certificate (AOC) renewal audit conducted by the Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (BCAA).

The Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA), has approved safety, security and airworthiness management systems for Gulf Air; Ensuring the continuation of the safe operations of the national carrier.

The review focused on the airline’s technical operations and departments to pave the way for AOC’s renewal.

The AOC is issued by the national regulator to enable an airline to operate safely, and is based on the regulations and requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority, as well as the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
