Manama, March 17 (BNA): Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the National Action Charter Monument was held on Sunday to honor the representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work. and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and members of the Royal Endurance Team.
The high-level ceremony comes in appreciation of the historic achievement of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who won the World Endurance Championship for the 160 km race, which the UAE recently hosted, with the participation of 126 riders from 36 countries.
First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, will deliver a speech at the ceremony.
The celebration will also witness various programs and panels highlighting the victorious journey of world champion His Highness Sheikh Nasser in endurance sports and horse racing.
