Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani praised the pioneering initiatives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of the government led by His Royal Highness. The minister emphasized that under the foreign policy of His Majesty the King, the Kingdom of Bahrain was able to transfer its historical experience of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and respect for religious freedoms to the whole world, by organizing international conferences for dialogue and rejection of hatred. The launch of the “Declaration of the Kingdom of Bahrain”, the signing of the “Abraham Accords” for coexistence between the three Abrahamic religions, and the follow-up of the pioneering enlightening role of the King Hamad International Center for Peaceful Coexistence.
The minister appreciated the historical results of the Bahrain Dialogue Forum “East and West for Human Coexistence”, as part of the official visit of His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Vatican, with the participation of the President of the Council of Muslim Elders, Dr. Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, amid international acclaim for the establishment of the “King Hamad International Prize for Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence,” and His Majesty’s call for international partnership in adopting diplomatic and peaceful dialogue.
