Manama, January 18 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani received today the New Zealand ambassador-designate to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh, Barney Riley. He praised the distinguished friendship relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and New Zealand, stressing the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen them for the higher interest of the two countries.
The New Zealand ambassador praised the advanced level of bilateral relations, stressing his country’s keenness to strengthen friendship and cooperation relations in all fields, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further growth and prosperity.
The two sides discussed issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Head of the Americas Affairs Sector, Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa.
