Foreign Minister meets US National Security Council Coordinator for Middle East and North Africa

Manama, November 21 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met today with Brett McGurk, the US National Security Council’s coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa, on the sidelines of the 17th Manama Dialogue. .

The two sides reviewed the close historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in all fields for the benefit of both countries.

They also reviewed the political and security developments in the region, the challenges that threaten its security and stability, and the efforts made to consolidate security, peace and development.

The meeting was attended by Chargé d’Affairs at the US Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain Margaret Nardi, Director General of Foreign Affairs Affairs Ambassador Talal Abdul Salam Al-Ansari and Head of Americas Affairs. In the ministry, Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa.
