Foreign Minister meets UN Secretary General

New York, September 27 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met today at the United Nations Headquarters, on the sidelines of the conference, with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. The 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

They discussed cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Nations and its various agencies. They also highlighted the efforts of the United Nations in maintaining international security and stability.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, and His Excellency Ambassador Jamal Faris Al-Ruwaie and the Acting President. Among the organizations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is Her Excellency Ambassador Sheikha Aisha bint Ahmed Al Khalifa.
