Manama, Jan. 26 (BNA): The Embassy of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain held today a reception on the occasion of Republic Day.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, in the presence of ambassadors and invitees.
Dr. Al-Zayani congratulated the Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Piyush Srivastava, praising the strong historical relations that bind the two friendly countries.
He affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to continue developing joint relations in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He highlighted the long-standing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of India, which are based on mutual respect and common interests, stressing keenness to benefit from India’s economic and technological steps.
