Manama, April 18 (BNA): Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani chaired a meeting held by the National Committee for the Prohibition of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
The minister highlighted the efforts and achievements of the committee members since the committee was reconfigured by Decree 23 of 2022.
He praised the continuous cooperation and coordination among members to fulfill international obligations.
The minister emphasized the Kingdom’s role in contributing to efforts to maintain peace and security at the national, regional and international levels.
The National Committee discussed the topics on its agenda, in addition to the latest developments related to the prohibition of weapons of mass destruction.
