About the business unit:

Ooredoo’s Technology Unit is the backbone of the organization providing all technology services that enable Ooredoo to provide its services to its customers across all technology platforms, 24/7/365. In other words, it is responsible for managing all Ooredoo networks, infrastructure/platforms and technology processes to achieve fast time to market, high operational efficiency, support product/service innovation, and ultimately drive Ooredoo’s financial performance. The division is responsible for driving the transition to a converged kernel and cloud configuration in coordination with IaaS based on the newly defined technology strategy: Transformation of Platforms to Applications Built on IT Infrastructure.

About the role:

This role is responsible for performing a variety of end-to-end operation and maintenance tasks across the domain of network software (EPC and SDM platforms and services) in order to ensure high service availability and the best customer experience.

around you:
5 years experience in a similar position.
Hands-on experience working with prominent service providers or network suppliers.
Strong knowledge and technical capabilities of SDM (subscriber database management) systems and advanced core architecture (EPC).
Familiarity with 3gpp architecture and standards. Extensive knowledge of wireless technologies (3G, LTE, 5G) and proven track records of delivering subscriber database management solutions (back-end and front-end, such as HLR, HSS, AAA,..)
Strong technical competency around cloud/virtual network components (VMware, Hypervisors, vSphere, vEPC 5GC, CUPS)

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software or Communications Engineering
