Egypt urges restraint in Sudan

Cairo, April 15 (BNA): Egypt has expressed its grave concern over the developments in Sudan, amid clashes between the army and paramilitary forces.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “Egypt calls on all Sudanese parties to exercise maximum restraint in order to protect the lives and capabilities of the Sudanese people and support the higher interests of the country.”

EgyptAir announced the temporary suspension of its flights to and from Khartoum International Airport for a period of 72 hours due to the security situation.
