Education minister hails teachers efforts on World Teachers’ Day

Manama, October 4 (BNA) The Minister of Education, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, praised the Kingdom’s efforts during the outbreak of the Corona Virus pandemic, which continued to provide educational service to students despite all challenges.

The minister pointed out that World Teachers’ Day is an opportunity to highlight the success of teachers during the pandemic, which reflects their dedication, sincerity, perseverance and desire to achieve.

He highlighted the teachers’ contribution to filming the lessons and broadcasting them on Bahrain TV and uploading them to 14 YouTube channels to be available to students in their homes, including a channel for students with special needs.

Al Nuaimi stressed that teachers will remain a key partner in developing curricula, training programs, teaching methods and activities during the planning, implementation and evaluation stages.

The Minister praised the role of the Bahrain Teachers College in rehabilitating educational cadres, training them and providing them with the necessary skills to complete their tasks to the fullest, and informing them of educational developments in accordance with the most important international educational experiences.
