Education Minister congratulates Al-Mustaqbal Primary Girls School

Manama, Mar. 18 (BNA): Al-Mustaqbal Primary School for Girls won first place in the primary school category in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (Green Earth, Healthy Life) project competition.


The Minister of Education, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Juma, congratulated the school and administrative staff, students and parents on this achievement.


He praised Bahrain’s school achievements and its broad steps, praising His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their support for the education sector.


The competition, which was held remotely, was organized by the Global Skills Commission for the 21st Century, the American platforms Weeklet and Book, and the British SPSC organization.


The Future Primary School for Girls beat out 100 other schools from 45 countries to come first in the competition.


The minister praised the school’s projects that provide innovative solutions to the challenges of achieving sustainable development goals in terms of clean energy, climate action, industry, innovation, and ensuring the quality of education for all, including designing a sustainable city through the Minecraft educational application.
