eCommerce Conference for SMEs will be launched Tuesday

Manama, November 21 (BNA) The e-commerce conference for small and medium-sized companies will kick off on November 23-25 ​​to highlight the topic of “Digital Transformation of Business”.

The conference comes under the auspices of the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed Rashid Al Zayani.

Assistant Undersecretary for Control and Resources Abdulaziz Al-Ashraf said that this initiative is one of the initiatives of the national e-commerce strategy to facilitate the e-commerce sector in Bahrain, which aims to provide the latest solutions and technical trends in the field of e-commerce that will enhance the digital transformation of the e-commerce sector. Commercial establishments, in addition to raising awareness of the procedures that contribute to stimulating their business to keep pace with future trends in the e-commerce sector.

The event will be accompanied by an exhibition for companies and commercial institutions to present the most prominent electronic projects and solutions, and to present exclusive packages and offers for owners of small and medium enterprises.

Al-Ashraf highlighted ways to encourage small and medium-sized companies to digital transformation by providing the latest services and technological solutions in the field of e-commerce, which will be highlighted during the conference topics.

On the first day, the conference will discuss “e-commerce solutions” from Microsoft Bahrain, Oman and Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco), in addition to explaining the digital marketing strategies that Maroon Frog will present in addition to expressing the company’s success story. The Assistant Undersecretary indicated that the conference, on its third day, will discuss “logistics and exports” hosted by DHL, Wasel Delivery Company and UBEX Courier Services, while the sixth discussion session will present “government initiatives” that contribute to supporting and developing the e-commerce sector through the participation of several concerned government agencies. In this matter, most notably Bahrain Post, Tamkeen, and Bahrain Exports, in addition to the relevant departments of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
