Earthquake of magnitude of 6.3 hits western Japan, no tsunami warning



Tokyo, May 5 (BNA): The Japanese authorities said that a 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit the Ishikawa region in western Japan today, Friday.

No tsunami warning was issued after the 2:42 p.m. earthquake, which had a maximum intensity of 6 on Japan’s 7-magnitude scale, Reuters reports today.
