We are looking for a qualified, proactive, Montessori Certified Early Years Manager to join the Early Childhood Development Center.

Comfortable with leadership, creating a culture of excellence, and demonstrating a growth mindset for both the center, and in the faculty community, this interdisciplinary position would suit a leader with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience, along with a minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role old.

You must be a committed Montessori leader, striving to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families, while managing all center operations effectively and efficiently.

You will be a motivated leader, ready to take intellectual risks, take on challenges and solve problems in the dynamic State of Kuwait. You will promote the social, physical and intellectual development of the children under your care, and you will work coherently with Center staff to create a learning environment while communicating effectively with parents about their child’s progress.

In addition to your development, you will work alongside the executive leadership team, to ensure the professional growth and talent development of the teaching team. Your goal is to create a serious school culture and environment for children and families to build on their curiosity, research and develop an enduring passion for learning.

Basic requirements

• Candidates must meet the International Montessori licensure criteria for the position of Principal/Director.
• Qualified teacher status: A degree-level qualification in teaching (eg PGCE or BSc in Education), or an equivalent teaching leadership qualification.
• Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably as a principal or deputy principal in an international pre-school, bilingual and/or early years setting.
