Deputy Prime Minister receives UN Resident Coordinator in Bahrain

Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA): The Deputy Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, met with the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Bahrain, Khalid Al-Maqwad.


Sheikh Khalid affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to enhance cooperation with the United Nations and its agencies within the framework of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince. Prince and Prime Minister.


He praised the role of Al-Quwad in implementing the activities of the United Nations in the Kingdom.



Al-Maqoud praised the strong partnership between Bahrain and the United Nations, and the Kingdom’s constant readiness to provide expertise, technical support and advice needed in sustainable development.
