Deputy Prime Minister receives Japanese ambassador

Manama, October 20 (BNA) Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today the newly appointed Japanese ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Miyamoto Masayuki.

The two sides discussed the growing relations between the two friendly countries and issues of common interest.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the need to take advantage of Japan’s tremendous technological progress and use it locally to upgrade the digital and infrastructure level.

The Japanese ambassador thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for the meeting, stressing the keenness to achieve the aspirations of the two countries by encouraging Japanese economic and trade delegations to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain and explore investment opportunities there.
