Manama, Jan. 9 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training, received the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, and the Prime Minister. Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi.
The Deputy Prime Minister was briefed on the conference that will be launched in Bahrain to develop education in the Arab region under the slogan “Bahrain is the gateway to developing education in the Arab region.”
He expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the president and members of the Associated Press in serving Arab issues in general and developing education in particular, which confirms their keenness to keep pace with global changes.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed praised the minister’s role in implementing the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in developing the educational process in the Kingdom and enhancing its position at the regional and international levels.
The Speaker and the Minister expressed their sincere thanks to the Deputy Prime Minister for his continuous support to the education sector and his keenness to improve its results through various training programs and initiatives.
