As a Senior Associate at Deals Analytics, you will lead the technical delivery of projects and develop specific industry and sector expertise. This position in deals will provide you with the opportunity to work across a range of business units from deal advisory, forensics, business restructuring and capital projects, reaching from an early stage to top level management and playing a critical role in our project teams.

Responsibilities:
Define a data-driven approach and identify use cases for applying analytics in projects. Able to take responsibility for specific areas of the scope, to include developing analysis, preparing questions for target management, and participating in meetings with management.
Demonstrate awareness of the relative importance in developing analysis and preparing questions.
Demonstrate an awareness of the traits of good report writing, dashboard skills, and the ability to communicate simple, practical explanations of your analysis and what it means for the business. It can clearly show why a particular piece of analysis is important
Take responsibility for managing their time and output based on the broader engagement schedule.
Consults with senior team members when necessary, but is ready to provide an opinion or proposed solution where practical.
Determining the required data and data sources including client and external data sets.
– Data extraction, analysis, purification, improvement and processing.
– Discover hidden and meaningful patterns within the data, either to measure historical events or to predict the likelihood of future events.
Mentor partners in data processing skills, raising the skills of the broader digital community.
Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to different client locations.

We are looking for motivated and motivated individuals, with 2-5 years of experience in data analytics with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics or Computer Science (or other similar quantitative discipline). You will be required to demonstrate the following knowledge and skills:

Practical knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
Knowledge in data mining, analysis, disinfection, quality and processing.
Experience with data analysis and transformation skills with any of the following software: Alteryx, SQL, R, SAS, Python etc.
Demonstrate ability to visualize data and at least control visualization including Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc.
Desired certifications: Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI.
Strong storytelling ability with a mastery of technical communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both English and Arabic.
Ability and willingness to travel.
