In an increasingly digital world, data stored by organizations is increasing in size and complexity. Data analytics is the discovery of valuable insights within data, often to measure historical events or to predict the likelihood of future events.
Much of our work requires analyzing vast amounts of electronic data, using the latest techniques and advanced statistical techniques to extract meaningful insights for our clients around the world. These include:
Build a detailed understanding of business performance and support clients in making investment decisions that are based on facts, not just intuition
Assisting in the prevention, continuous monitoring, detection and investigation of fraud, waste and financial crimes
Assisting clients in managing vast amounts of electronic data and navigating the legal and business processes required by critical events
Apply advanced data analytics techniques such as data connectivity, social network analysis, statistics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive modeling
responsibilities
As a Senior Assistant, you will work as part of a problem solver team, helping to solve complex business problems from strategy to implementation. Professional skills and responsibilities at PwC for this management level include but are not limited to:
Work with engagement teams to understand customer requirements (both internal and external) and develop analytics-based solutions.
Determine the internal and external data sources required to meet client requirements.
Extracting, purifying and analyzing selected data sources.
Experience and understanding of ETL concepts, data model and storytelling.
Work with senior team members to uncover hidden patterns within the data and predict the likelihood of future patterns.
Develop interactive dashboards and business intelligence reports.
Communicate simple, practical explanations for your analysis and work with engagement teams to facilitate data-driven decision making for clients across the region.
Validate data and analysis for accuracy and relevance
Invite and provide evidence-based feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
Keeping abreast of technical developments in the field of business.
Communicate with confidence in a clear, concise and detailed manner – orally and in writing.
Look for opportunities to learn about other cultures and other parts of the business across the PwC network of companies.

requirements
The candidate must be achievement-oriented, and have the ability to be flexible and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a flexible positive attitude.
Basic knowledge of statistical techniques including; Regression, pooling, sampling, social network analysis).
The ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East and the world where the project dictates.
2-3 years experience in data analytics
education
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related fields such as engineering, mathematics, statistics or information technology.
Favorite skills
Knowledge of data mining, analysis, disinfection, verification and processing
Dealing with large amounts of data, various sources and formats
Exposure to data analysis and manipulation using any of the following software: SQL, R, Alteryx, Tableau and/or PowerBI,
Understanding of scripting languages such as Python, PHP or VB
Understanding of programming languages such as Java, C++, C# or Matlab
Language Skills
– Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluent in English but multilingual Arabic speakers preferred.
