Manama, October 12 (BNA): Target appeared among the excellent list of participants in the third round of the Bahrain International Cup for Group C worth 500,000 pounds at the Sakhir horse racing track on Friday, November 19. There were a total of 78 entries (up from 61 in 2020) from 10 different countries. .

Coach John and Taddy Gosden, target, secured his place in the main race in Bahrain by winning the three “automatic entry” group of three at the Darley Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday under Jim Crowley. Frankel’s now three-year-old son has won five out of six races, with his only defeat in the first set being St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Jon Gosden said: “Marked didn’t make a lot of mistakes. He was put into boxing during St James’s Palace Stakes and that was the end of it. We’ve always considered him a 1 sq meter horse. His half-sister (Nadeen) won the first set by one mile. By an indomitable spirit, and he’s by Frankel, so we’re pretty sure a mile and a quarter is his best ride. He’s a neat horse.
