NTS Group is working exclusively with a leading consumer organization in Saudi Arabia to recruit a Country Manager/General Manager. The role is responsible for building and leading a sustainable, high-performance Qatari team while developing the country’s annual business plan to drive accelerated future growth.
responsibilities
• Build and lead a sustainable, high-performance country team.
• Create annual and mid-term country business plan to drive higher and last growth in the accelerated future.
• Submitting a specific action plan annually for the key performance indicators: profit and loss, market share, distribution, brand health indicators.
• Overseeing the branding responsibilities of third party distribution partners within the corporate division.
• Overseeing the sustainable launch of the company and securing synergies.
• Establishing strong and effective relationships with external stakeholders, etc.
• Planning, managing and presenting the annual work plan.
• Excellence in marketing and sales.
• Managing third party partnerships.
• Strengthening the organization.
Knowledge, skills and experience
• Deep knowledge and minimum 10 years of brand experience in FMCG distribution and distribution models, competitor activity and consumer behavior in an FMCG context, especially the Saudi Arabia market.
• Multi-faceted marketing experience in ATL/Advertising, PR, Events and Marketing Sponsorship, with experience in the Marketing, Sales and Commerce functions below.
• Ability to work through and successfully implement business strategies, while managing change processes and associated personnel.
• Strong analytical ability and business acumen to understand financial statements and market trends.
• Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity with a passion for the brand and commitment to the company’s values.
• A ‘can do’ leadership position facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate ‘best practices’.
• Successful experience in a similar leadership and accountability position, with strong people management skills and the ability to lead, motivate and coach a team.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Arabic is mandatory.
