Council of Guardianship on the Money of the Minors and their Equivalents holds regular meeting

Manama, April 20 (BNA): The Council of Guardianship over the Funds of Minors and the like held its regular meeting today, chaired by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Nawaf bin Muhammad Al-Maawda.

The minister welcomed the newly appointed members, expressing his thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for issuing a decree restructuring the Council of Custody of Minor Funds and the like. Including national experts and competencies in various fields.

He expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the members of the Council in its previous sessions, for their dedicated efforts in serving minors and those of similar status, stressing the social role played by the Council in supporting minors, by caring for money and life affairs.

The minister affirmed his keenness to develop the efficiency of managing minors’ affairs and funds to be able to carry out its duties to the fullest, by ensuring ease of services for minors and those of similar status, including the development of electronic systems and the application of modern methods. for customer service.

He pointed out that the current priority is to develop minors’ funds through appropriate investment opportunities that increase the return on profits while preserving capital in partnership and cooperation with the private sector.

The council also discussed the topics on its agenda, and took the necessary decisions regarding them, in a way that meets the needs of minors and the like.
