Job description and summary
As a member of PwC’s Transportation and Logistics practice, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the best and brightest consultants across the industry.
Regionally, the transport and logistics sector plays a pivotal role in shaping and enabling ongoing national transformation programs by strengthening national infrastructure, internal connectivity and interdependence, levels of service and safety, and attracting foreign direct investment. PricewaterhouseCoopers is at the heart of this sector’s transformation. We pride ourselves on a globally recognized practice of 5,000 professionals with strong roots in the Middle East region. Our regional practice brings deep multi-media expertise.
As a manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead internal and client teams through the development and implementation of operations strategies with a particular focus on implementing cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop yourself personally, paying close attention to trends in various sectors and influencing our clients so that you can help shape their thinking and our success in the marketplace.
Write and submit winning proposals to support our clients in the Middle East.
Support the development of new proposals to assist our clients.
You must be able to leverage your experience in different industries to deliver best practices to support our clients in achieving their defined engagement goals.
Work with colleagues across all Middle East offices on client work and internal initiatives as well as with international teams when required.
– Keep up with current trends from the region and from around the world.
You must lead teams and mentor/train other members of your team/business unit in order to foster a high performance team environment.
While working in the T&L team, you will develop your understanding of key themes in the market and in the region. You will work collaboratively with other experts to shape the future of our clients and bring about positive change. You’ll have access to the latest training and development tools and the support of PwC’s broader network.
Favorite experience
Strong consulting background (high performance in a strategic or large house 4).
Bachelor’s degree from a high-ranking university with a proven distinguished academic record; Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
Worked on projects in the transportation and logistics industry
A beginner, eager to open up new horizons and create opportunities for others.
Exceptional skills in solving analytical and quantitative problems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a confident presence and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas.
Demonstrate progress and advancement in positions of greater responsibility.
Demonstrate the ability to influence the highest financial results and/or bottom line.
Team Oriented and Demonstrated Success In achieving results and leading teams, significant managerial responsibility early in a career is an added advantage.
Ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East.
Experience in strategic planning, operational improvement, data analytics, operational transformation, entry-level team leadership, mid-level client management.
Language requirements
Bilingual in Arabic and English
