Job description and summary
The technology consulting team is working on shaping the digital and IT market in the GCC. Work with private and public sector clients to help them improve the overall value provided to their clients and employees by crafting digital strategies and assisting them with implementation. We help customers unleash the potential of digital technology by increasing customer engagement, providing their employees with powerful tools, and helping them improve and digitize their operations.

Responsibilities:

Work under the supervision of senior managers of cloud, data center and leadership within a technology consulting practice.
Evaluate and design cloud software from start to finish including developing strategy, architecture, operations, governance, solutions, budget and roadmap based on leading practices.
– Develop RFPs, evaluate various technologies and conduct vendor evaluation and selection.
Oversee the implementation of cloud solutions on client premises and be able to work closely with cloud vendors and system integrators.
Communicate effectively (orally and in writing) with both IT staff, line managers and user communities.
– Coordination, facilitation and presentation of offers.
Supporting business development activities by developing technical and financial proposals and taking a proactive role in selling.
Work with colleagues across all Middle East offices on client engagements and internal initiatives as well as with international teams.
Conduct research on emerging cloud technologies and disseminate knowledge to technology advisors and clients when required.
Assist in the development of new service offerings for the technology business unit in the areas of cloud computing.
While working in the technology team, you will increase your understanding of key themes in the market and in the region.
Work collaboratively with other technology experts to shape the future of our customers and bring about positive change.

requirements:

Years of Experience: 4 years of more experience in cloud computing, previous experience in software development or data center architecture type role.
Education: BA / BA. in Computer Engineering or a related field.
Experience in banking, telecommunications and/or government sectors is an added advantage.
Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Engineering or a related field.
Advanced certification in cloud architecture is required (eg Azure Solution Architect Expert, AWS Solution Architect Professional, or Google Cloud Certified Cloud Architect).
Certification in Cloud DevOps (eg Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, or Google Certified Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) is required.
– Certification in cloud security (eg CCSK or CCSP) is an added advantage
Certification in Cyber ​​Security (eg, CISSP, CISM, SANS) is an added advantage.
Only candidates with previous Big 4 experience with the above certifications will be considered.
Must have previous experience with migration for complex environments with more than 500 Vms. Experience in refactoring in-house developed applications is desirable.
Strong understanding of emerging cloud technologies and standards.
Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, automation technologies, and DevOps operating models
Experienced working in a SCRUM / Agile approach to cloud-native application development
Directed achievement with the ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis.
Excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize workload with flexibility and ability to handle well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent problem solving skills with a structured thinking process.
Strong relationships and relationships with clients in Saudi Arabia and the UAE is an added advantage.
– Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to learn new concepts and conduct technical research.
Proven IT skills in Microsoft Office and G-suite applications.
Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English (Arabic is an added advantage).
The ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East is a must.
