Upon joining, you will assist federal, state and local clients in solving complex business issues and managing jurisdiction-related risks. It will help our customers evaluate their operational, security and data management strategies so that they can continue to operate more efficiently and effectively, today and tomorrow.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Government and Public Sector Business Unit and the Transformation and Strategy Management Consulting team, where you will play a key role in the development and delivery of strategy-based projects for clients in the government and public sector in the Middle East.

You will be part of a high-performance team team, interacting with industry professionals and experts who will help you build and deploy the strong project management skills required to manage large-scale, technical transformation initiatives nationwide. You will learn about PwC’s proprietary methodologies and tools built from experiences from many previous engagements and leading practices, to enable you to provide services to our customers efficiently and effectively in a timely and reliable manner.

responsibilities
As a competency, you will be expected to lead and build on multiple areas within the public sector. However, we expect you to bring experience in one or more of the following areas: education, sports, public policy or economics.

Additional responsibilities include:
Lead the growth and transformation management team and develop strategic partnerships within government and the public sector.
Continuously expand knowledge of the business environment in the Middle East and work with colleagues in all Middle East offices on client work and internal initiatives as well as with international teams when required.
Managing the strategy development and implementation and managing the national transformation agenda.
Lead and deliver large and complex client engagements that identify, design and implement creative solutions for public sector entities, and assist them in restructuring organizational structures and service delivery models.
Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables, effectively manage the functional and technical team, and support transformation career paths and relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
Manage and participate in the development and submission of proposals for business development activities.
Provide advisory services, including strategy development, contract evaluation, and operations management.

requirements
Proven experience in one or more of the following sectors: education, sports, public policy or economics.
Experience in the Middle East is an added advantage. Preferably know Qatar market.
– Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Preferably speak Arabic.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred
Years of Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience, 6 of which are in a consulting firm.
Defining project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
Evaluate project results in terms of quality, consistency, accuracy, total value, completion dates, and provider performance.
Ensure that the project database containing all relevant information (data, documents, reports, etc.) is recorded and maintained.
Proven track record in professional services sales and revenue under management (supervision and oversight of implementation).
